You asked for it, and you got it. I have received COUNTLESS emails asking for my Abraham Lincoln piece - "The Emancipation" - to be highlighted a little better than a couple of pieced-together photographs. So, I decided to give it a page of its' own. High-quality signed prints (limited to 200) are also available for $30 each. The prints measure 16" x 20". Back in May of this year, I was watching a documentary on the life of a man that has inspired Americans for almost 150 years. I took one of his most famous of speeches - "The Emancipation Proclamation", and I used my set of graphite pencils to write it over and over, left-to-right, with the words seperated by a single dot. While I wrote it, I used a softer graphite (5B) to make some of the letters (and parts of letters) darker. When I finsihed, I had a piece that I am extremely proud of:

This speech is highly inspirational. I have taken other famous speeches, songs, and quotes and have expanded this idea to include other subjects. Lou Gehring in "Lucky Man" is in a link to the left. I am currently working on two other subjects, with 4 more still in the draft stage. Hopefully, they will all turn out as well as this one. THANK YOU FOR VIEWING!
